The Project
A Home Built for Generations
The Druid Hills Residence began as a raw two-acre wooded lot on one of Atlanta's most storied streets. The clients — a family of five with deep Atlanta roots — wanted a home that belonged to its landscape: a Craftsman-influenced design that felt grown from the site rather than placed on it.
Working alongside the project architect from concept through completion, our team managed every phase of the 6,400 square-foot build. The result is a home where hand-cut stone, old-growth timber, and custom millwork carry the same weight as the structural engineering beneath them — because both were given equal attention.
The project finished on schedule and within 2% of the original budget — a result of thorough pre-construction planning and a subcontractor team that had worked with us for years.
“Benson built our forever home in Buckhead from the ground up. They navigated a tricky lot, kept us on schedule, and the final result exceeded everything we'd imagined.”
